The series of oil pastel drawings titled “Portraits from Home” seeks to challenge conventional notions of artistic hierarchy by elevating what is often dismissed as "childish" or "crude" art to the same level of appreciation as more polished works.

Through three distinct pieces depicting a girl, a dog, and a crude abstract figure, I aim to honor the inherent value and beauty found in seemingly simplistic drawings.
