Orange

This piece was made for a Peel Gallery show, where most of the work focused on the idea of "peel." I chose to depict a moldy orange to show something that’s past its prime, but still visually interesting. I used oil pastels, spackle, acrylic paint, caulking, colored pencils, chalk, resin, and hot glue to create a layered, textured surface.
